Educational Experience

About Me:
This is an interesting, challenging, and yet exciting time to be an educator. I am glad and proud to say that I have been teaching for the Homer-Center School District for 36 years in various assignments. I have taught mixed-category special needs students in grades 1-6, as well as the 3rd, 4th (ELA), and 5th (ELA) grades. Over the years you have probably witnessed me participating in numerous district activities ranging from assisting at high school track meets and musicals to serving on various district level committees as well as countless elementary school initiatives and programs.
I have studied at various local universities such as Slippery Rock, IUP, and Gannon. I have attained a Masters Degree in Education as well as 45 doctoral credits and my Principal Certification.
I currently live in Churchill with my family and our Whoodle dog, Chloe. Outside of school, I enjoy working in my gardens, taking agility classes with Chloe, serving on Churchill Borough's Recreation Board and relaxing with friends and family.
I have and always will appreciate the trust you have given me to educate your child wisely, respectfully, and compassionately.
