Physical Education Handbook

PE CLASS ATTIRE:  AS PER PARENT/STUDENT HANDBOOK STUDENTS SHOULD WEAR TENNIS SHOES, THAT ARE TIED IN THE TRADITIONAL MANNER, AND WEAR CLOTHING THAT IS APPROPIATE FOR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY.
 
Students in Grades 4-6 get graded on their dress for PE.  Students in K-3 do not get graded in PE for their dress, but they are encouraged to dress appriopiately for activity. 
 
Items to Avoid:
Sandals
Crocs
Flip Flops
High Heels
Boots
Skirts/Dresses
Cut-off Shirt
Clothing that you would not want your son/daughter to get dirty
 
Inclement Weather:  I understand that during the winter months students like to wear winter boots for warmth and safety.  However, on PE days have your students place their gym shoes in their backpacks.  Home room teachers will allow your student time to change their shores prior to coming to the gym.
